A nested server is sized to run a second virtualization layer inside a virtualized server. It supports customers creating virtual servers through ESXi, with Linux and Windows operating-system options. Every plan uses a 12-core Intel Xeon E5-2699 V4 processor profile.
Memory and SSD capacity distinguish the plans: the range starts at 16 GB RAM with 240 GB SSD and reaches 128 GB RAM with 960 GB SSD. Sizing a nested environment requires more than counting guests; include the host reserve, each guest’s peak memory, persistent storage growth and the overhead introduced by another virtualization layer.
